HostRooster’s Extenuating Circumstances Policy outlines how cancellations are handled when unexpected and uncontrollable events arise after booking, making it unfeasible or unlawful to proceed with the reservation. This policy applies to both accommodation and Experience reservations.
In circumstances covered by this policy, it takes precedence over the standard cancellation policy, allowing affected guests to cancel their reservations and receive a cash refund, travel credit, or other considerations, depending on the situation. Hosts impacted by covered events can also cancel without facing negative consequences, though their calendars may be blocked for the canceled reservation dates.
